DOGS (Dept. of Orange Grounds Services) Responsibilities

Creation, set-up, and breakdown of city infrastructure including Gate Station, Greeter Station, Center Camp, and Ranger/Medical Station. Make sure that golf carts are properly lit and identifiable.

DOGS Coordinator

Pre-event Duties

  • Join the event planning group
  • Brief Event Organizer at least bi-weekly
  • Solicit volunteers
  • Determine infrastructure needs
  • Make sure that required infrastructure gets made or purchased before event as necessary
  • Organize work weekend for site preparation and set up of infrastructure

During Event Duties

  • Monitor infrastructure and organize repairs as necessary

Post-event Duties

  • Organize breakdown of infrastructure
  • Make sure infrastructure is placed in storage

  • On call for infrastructure repair/problems

Post-event Duties

  • Help with breakdown of infrastructure
  • Help place infrastructure in storage
